Any work you have not completed in class is work you need to complete for homework.  Mrs. Yost encourages all students to write down their assignments in an agenda.  You can use the agenda used through the school or your own agenda.  This will help you stay organized with your assignments.

Objective: I will be able to identify how the Missouri Compromise temporarily solved the problem of slavery and show my understanding on how the Missouri Compromise changed the geography of the United States

November 28 and 29
EQ: How did the Compromise of 1850 attempt to solve the problem of slavery in the US? 
Objective: I will be able to explain how the Missouri Compromise and the Compromise of 1850 both failed to solve the problem of slavery over a long period of time by showing how they both changed the geography of the United States

November 30 and December 3
EQ: How did the Kansas Nebraska Act attempt to solve the problem of slavery in the US? 
Objective: I will be able to explain how the Kansas Nebraska Act, Compromise of 1850 and the Missouri Compromise all failed to solve the issue of slavery and further divided the country into two separate regions which ultimately led to the American Civil War.
